Annex Cat Rescue's current featured cat is Vernon. He is 3 years old. While still a little shy with visitors, Vernon is friendly and affectionate, and loves to play.
A percentage of my gross income from cat sitting is donated to Annex Cat Rescue. This is a registered charity, run by dedicated volunteers who work incredibly hard to rescue, foster, and find caring adoptive homes for abandoned, stray and homeless cats. They also care for feral cats by feeding feral colonies and, whenever possible, doing trap, neuter and return (TNR) for feral cats who cannot be tamed, to try to curb the population growth of these colonies of cats who lead very tough, dangerous lives in our city.
If you are considering adding a cat to your family, I encourage you to visit the Annex Cat Rescue web site, where there are always listings of cats and kittens who need good homes. In addition, donations, foster homes and volunteers are always very much appreciated.
